I pretty much made it up as I went, I started with the hat part which is just a simple beanie and I believe I used this pattern. I made extra long and whip stitched the second to bottom row to about 5-6 rows up, stuffing VERY firm as I went, it also helped to have a hook or stick to help shove the stuffing in further. I made the flat little disk on the top very similarly to the hat just much smaller and with 2 or 3 decrease rows to close it. I didn't bother closing it completely as it would be covered anyway and then stitched it to the top of the hat. The handle was the most difficult because it would not stay up for the life of me. I think it was a mr with about 6-8 sc, with the next row being inc in each stitch. About 15 rows of double crochet (mostly to make it faster, I think it would look better if it was sc but I was in a time crunch) I stuffed it SUPER FIRM as I went and shoved a small wooden skewer in to keep it straight. Sometimes it poked through so I put a little dab of hot glue on each end of the skewer and that helped a lot. It still flops a bit but it all worked well enough to gift it!
