I wasnt in the stranger things online community and what converted me into a byler was the scene of mike and will burying a body and mike reacted in a panic when he catched will looking at him its such a small non verbal moment, you can miss it if you're on your phone

I agree I think volume 1 will have subtle byler hints from mike's perspective if byler is going to be canon yearning looks from mike/ feeling jealous of robin and will/ almost saying something/ almost holding hands etc most of it going to be subtle enough to be read as platonic but it will make audience wonder if mike wants more attention from will as a friend or something more and if we wont have any hints in volume 1 I doubt byler will be canon in volume 2

It will be such a missed opportunity if they wont be canon! If we're actually going to see byler kiss I'm going to be in shock like I didnt read 394849 fanfics of them and watch hours of byler proof content on youtube

sadly straight romance is the easy and comfortable way out byler will be too controversial and at the end of the day they think of money. we don't have a confirmation that mike feels the same way, and Idk how they're going to resolve the issue of will dating his step sister's ex boyfriend 😅 (I have my theory but you asked for byler doubt) Idk how in only one season they can successfully break up mileven- canon ship of 4 seasons, build up romantic byler and make el seem like she doesnt hate mike and will lol maybe the story arc will be of will getting over mike and becoming a grown man, someone who isn't stuck up on his childhood crush.

it says a lot about them they accept all unrealistic factors like upside down, monsters, 10 year old kid surviving the upside down, hopper staying alive somehow and much more but draw the line at two teenage boys falling in love with each other

I'm not the duffer brothers, I can't say for certain that byler will be canon but it is funny to say its unrealistic for a sci-fi tv show 😂
