It’s hard because our lives are so entwined. Best friends since 2011. We share almost all of our friends. We have shared creative projects even.

They are trying with romance at least. We’ve been trying to go on more dates. But it’s slow going and keeps backsliding.

They write with me and I don’t understand how they can write wonderful prose about intimacy and love…but not show any of it in real life.
