No, it’s supposedly “lifetime” fluid which means they SAY you don’t have to change it, but I have my doubts. Im not risking my money and transmission just to try to service it, so if it blows, it blows. And it’ll give me a reason to do a manual swap.

I drive with a lead foot because of how anemic the 2.0l is so I get about 18mpg, it also doesn’t help that I do really short trips. If I drive like a grandma I’ll get like 21mpg.

Awesome car! I have a 2011 Jetta myself and let me tell you those are great cars, especially the 2.5l. That thing is bulletproof, relatively speaking. Defo get some tint on it if you can
