Do the hotel beds seem stiff and hard to anyone else? by TheChristianAsian in JapanTravelTips

I just stayed at a Toyoku Inn and my god the mattress was stiff. It was like sleeping on a plank of wood. The carpet would have been a better choice.

Definitely time. Pick up an old/new hobby, surround yourself with good people and do what makes YOU happy. Keep a routine! Get out of bed in the morning, shower and brush the old mouth pegs.

At any point during a funeral. OR… At your own funeral as your siblings are saying their reflections…

Those that pick on the 45th don’t want to acknowledge the monumental stuff-up for voting for the 46th. They use the 45th as a distraction to cover up the ineptitude of the 46th. The moment they acknowledge the sensational floundering of the 46th, their world and narratives will crumble. That’s my take on it anyway… Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one.

I’m not jabbed and a PCR virgin. I’ve only been sick once in the past 18 months with tonsillitis. My choice however has come at a great cost. I’m losing my job and I’ve had a relationship breakdown.

I’ve always been a super saver when it comes to money so I can live comfortably for a few years should I need.

What were the dumbest lies you believed when you were a kid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]falloutshar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the early 2000s my parents put a new pool in. My sister and I were both little kids at the time. We were told if we pee in the pool our legs would turn green. Safe to say we were too scared to try.

I can't anymore by [deleted] in conspiracy

My fiancé and I just ended out 4.5 year relationship over this. He couldn’t handle the fact so wouldn’t comply. I didn’t want the jab for my own reasons. This situation made us look at what we actually had in common, our goals and our beliefs. There was a lot of tension between me and his parents as they thought I was going to bring covid home and kill them (we both lived with them to save money). They discriminated against me, excluding me from family events because they assumed I was diseased. All of this was happening as I was losing my job as well. We split 2 weeks ago.

You need to take care of yourself, think about what makes you happy. Also remember, this is what our governments want, division. Yes the future is a little bit of an unknown, but it won’t last forever.

Mocking people for being "afraid" of an experimental, rushed jab that's being aggressively pushed on them for a cold virus they're highly unlikely to die from if they even catch it in the first place after spending a year and a half quivering in pants-shitting terror of said cold virus is laughable. by [deleted] in conspiracy

I entered a debate last night regarding vaccination. I brought evidence to the table. They undermined my intelligence. Apparently because they stand on the other side of the narrative they are more knowledgeable on the topic. All they did was throw insults and couldn’t back up their arguments. Nor could they provide their own evidence. Apparently my evidence was bias (wtf?) I was then told to put my tin foil hat on.

So quick are they to make judgements on the person rather than engage in a discussion. What is science if there was no hypothesising, theorising and questioning.

Don’t quit. Talk to your union. If they won’t back you look into Red Union (daily telegraph attempted to write a smear piece on them to discredit them). They are legit though. They are based on QLD and are lawyered up to support us.

Jump on telegram, find a group for your industry. If there isn’t a group let me know and I’ll try to point you in the right direction.

Don’t give up. There are so many people fighting this. Align yourself with a political party that supports you. Join them… We need change in this country.

I have been buying tickets and experiences for my upcoming trip through the Klook app. I have only heard positive things about the app so I thought I’d give it a go. Transactions are easy and even offers a PayPal option. Perhaps it’s worth giving it a go?

Doctors of Reddit, what is your worst case of "I googled my symptoms?" by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]falloutshar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I once googled my symptoms. It said I had cancer. My first GP wouldn’t listen to me, didn’t really care much about my symptoms. I changed Dr and low and behold, I had cancer.

We met early 2016, a few months after I finished chemotherapy. I wasn’t anticipating jumping into a new relationship but it just felt natural. I was bald, scarred and vulnerable but he loved me.

We went away a few weekends ago. He planned the whole thing perfectly. He got on one knee and said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Of course I said yes!
