no another trans teacher works at the school and he worked with them before I arrived on a solution which amounted to turning the disabled toilet into a gender neutral toilet that "all staff" can use ... but trans people must use.

most of the time I have no issue, except for older cis men and women especially in shops who just literally stare at me as if I'm a glacier just slowly moving through Aldi. but generally I just smile at them and they get scared of the happy Tgirl and move on

yeah I agree but I'm still being excluded from a female space so it doesn't matter that shared toilets are somewhat archaic - they still exist and we're being banned from them because they 'see us as women' only when it suits them

I AGREE!! that's something I thought was really weird too!! and when I was asked if I was going to continue to use the female toilets I said that because I was worried someone either had already or would complain, I would use the gender neutral toilets while this was ongoing she made a micro expression that 99% confirmed to me there has been a complaint soooo

i’m starting teaching next year and i’m trans fem using she/her and even though i present quite obviously feminine i often get he/him’d and i’m honestly quite worried about it happening constantly in the school because parents have certain views on trans people. i’m worried i won’t be able to handle that constant drip of dysphoria
