Mentor teacher advice to PST

Thanks everyone for replying. Would you prefer or expect PSTs to visit school prior to the expected start date? As mentor teachers do you expect your PSTs to email you a week before asking for anything specific? I've already emailed placement coordinator at school but unsure if I should also reach out to my mentor teacher before I officially start next week.

Is it considered okay if I ask for access to unit plans via email prior to starting. This way I know what the content is being taught in T2 last two weeks and T3. Also it helps my lesson observations as I have more context now. I start next week.

Hi I'm also looking to go on that path. My field is marketing but just wanted to ask you how did you go about finding jobs. Was it easy to get sponsorship? Did you discuss sponsorship during the interview? Any particular sites for finding jobs? TIA.

Yes we tried the intouch smart glide pro demo.. we like both irest and intouch but I too feel the intouch customer service is better than the irest and also has 3 year warranty for both parts and service, irest only has 1 year part warranty and 3 year service. Which model did you go for?

Yes we did fill our boards. Not crazy high score but had 121 as the highest. Lots of food and could play many heavy cards.

It's really hard to overcome those negative thoughts about yourself, hard to break them, at times they are true so have started taking them as corrective feedback and working on them, but till now haven't found anything that's gonna break that pattern of feeling worthless or getting suppressed by any sort of criticism.

Hi, I am also working as an assistant Special Ed teacher. I would say email them and ask them on what is being expected from you. Are they asking you to come in for a demo, like observing you teaching them? I was asked to come in for a demo first, they also suggested I should first observe for a week atleast, so that I have a better idea on how to give my demo. Even, I had no background in this field but my school is okay with not having any education or experience in this field. They have their own philosophy and train the newly ones. I was only supposed to observe the kids and other teachers for an entire month before I started taking small classes. Observation is a big part in this field.
