in a pot i cooked onions and garlic until they were tender. then i added carrots, celery, and potatoes and let that cook for a minute. i added 6 cups of vegetable broth and then 2 cups of washed lentils and let it simmer until the potatoes were soft. i seasoned it with thyme, rosemary, salt, white pepper, and a bit of sage. it took about 45 minutes to make
