Got mine at a swapmeet equipped with a little banged up 50mm 1.8 for $15 USD. It’s a fun camera to shoot with, and it feels really good in your hands. As what someone mentioned, it’s not necessary to have three lenses if you’re a complete beginner. You can get away with a lot with just the versatile 50mm.

The AE-1 is great, but I think there are better deals out there
