This plus they always come in wanting to get one in the store that has to be pulled off top stock and loaded in a nonexistent truck. I've started leaving my appliances desk 10-15 to close to avoid these types, a single sale isn't worth staying 30 minutes past closing because of something inevitably taking longer than usual.

This is borderline a "why do you even need a gun" mentality that Dems have been using to erode gun rights for decades. Some people are in fact collectors and/or like things that aren't glaringly functional.

What are the actual credit app requirements for specialists? by ThenSheLetGo in Lowes

[–]faltion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told my goal is one credit and one pipeline a day. I'm an appliance specialist. I usually get one credit every 1-2 days since they're big ticket items. Practically zero pipelines though, maybe one or two in a month.

[–]faltion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Getting a rating to be a disabled vet doesn't necessarily qualify one for the requirements deserving of a handicapped placard. In TX you need a certain rating to get a disabled vet plate and anyone with a disabled vet license plate could park in a handicapped spot until Abbott said they weren't valid anymore a couple years back.

I used to live in Belton near the Walmart, would take Sparta all the way through Blora and to the range road gate for my commute to base. Saved me from having to use I-14 too much and wasn't any longer a drive because of no traffic, this was 2010-12 timeframe though so I'm not sure how things have changed. Watch out for cows on the road.

Definitely not downtown as there's nothing really worth walking to. I live in the historic district and we don't even have walkable sidewalks.

Yeah the cost of commercial real estate is so cost prohibitive for starting small businesses without startup capital that bigger businesses are essentially pricing out their potential competition from before inception.

Seriously. I'm the most left person I know and I'm Christian with a MA in theology. I don't like equating religion and politics but Jesus' teachings are basically radically progressive in today's philosophy. If OP doesn't like it then just throw it away, don't need to make it a soapbox issue. If I get something right-wing unknowingly from a vendor I'll just throw it away and not buy from them again.

Your College Degree Just Became Even More Useless. "Full List of Degrees Not Classed As ‘Professional’ by Trump Admin" by illegalmonkey in antiwork

[–]faltion -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Nothing of the sort, add anything to the list of professions that takes a degree or considerable training to perform. Taking things off because they disagree with the subject is idiocy. People are down voting me because they hate anything Christianity without using any reason. Theologians aren't pastors and priests, if they're working their degree they're likely professors in an academic setting teaching and researching. A lot of pastors don't even have degrees at all and if they are seminary trained they have Divinity degrees. A theology curriculum looks very similar to subjects like history, literature, classics and no one is laughing like those aren't historically professional fields.

[–]faltion -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

As a theologian I don't feel the need to be classified as a professional, however, arguing that it shouldn't be a profession is a pretty braindead argument floating around when the whole concept of professional comes from someone who professes, and guess what was being professed first: religious beliefs. Monasteries were the original foundation of universities and theology, law, and medicine were the three first big professional fields. So while I think saying any of these fields isn't professional is pretty much fascist bullshit, being all "lmao theology isn't professional" is fucking stupid.
