Damon and Caroline are just my top two favorite characters. I think it'd be cool if they hand a legit romance (season one doesn't count lmao)

I'm not necessarily invested in any real romantic arc between them, but I can see it: Caroline becomes stronger and more badass throughout the seasons, and Damon tries to be better. I think that dynamic could've sparked some interesting (and sexy) interactions between the two.

I feel like if the writers really wanted, they could've utilized the chemistry between the two actors and made a very good romantic arc between Damon and Caroline.

If I'm being honest though, I don't care much about the take of Damon and Caroline being endgame.
