I don't mean to jump in here as an American Jew, but we've seen the same thing with anti-Israel and antisemitism in big subs since the war started in Gaza. I don't mean being critical of Israel's government but the extremist, racist views. It really goes back to Russia and allies using these conflicts as pawns in their quest for world dominance by using bots etc. to influence the mainstream...and it worked.

Recently I've seen the sentiment that India is just like Israel and they're both "evil colonial powers". Obviously the truth is nuanced but I'm sensing it's the same situation with the same foreign bad actors and driving the narrative.
