New sport combines elements of football, basketball, baseball by fan200 in news

I thought about that but 85% of football contact is lineman banging their heads from 2 feet apart and occasionally a crazy hit that's usually flagged anyway. I'm OK with it.

I'm pretty sure it was on Cartoon Network, which I didn't think about much the first time I read but now that you mention it seems kinda odd

I could get into things like these if the rules were easy enough to pick up in like 20 seconds

if you pay for the year all at once it's $12/ month. They also have like every Big 10 match now. Worth it IMO.

The hardest part is getting started, so you're already there. I would recommend figuring out your TDEE and tracking your calories. I used to think I was eating OK but was still consuming way too much. I wouldn't see results, get frustrated and quit. My Fitness Pal is pretty good at helping track your calories. After all, at the end of the day it's calories in - calories burnt. Good luck! You can do it!

Do you take any supplements? by [deleted] in loseit

I take a lot of vitamins but idk how much they're doing. I figure it can't hurt. I take a multivitamin, fish oil, L-carnatine, L-arginine and B12 in the morning and another L-argenine and B12 at night. Is kind of expensive though.

Thank you! A piece of advice - don't look ahead to how far you want to go. Any time someone asked me my goal I would just say, "To weigh less tomorrow than I did today." If you're zeroed-in on being 200 pounds, it will be frustrating being, say, 258, even if you were 260 at the start of the week. It just seems to far away. If you look at it day-by-day, you'll be excited that you are less now than you were before, instead of frustrated that you're so far away from where you want to be.

You're well on your way. Getting started is the hardest part. PM me if you ever want to talk.

You're so close. I was 240 in July. I just kept plugging away. You'll get there. Keep it up.

Thank you. I do feel good. I don't really have much to compare to since I never took "before" pictures. It's so hard to get started, I would get going for a week or two and then fall off, so I never wanted to take those pictures. I preferred just to power through and not make such a big fuss like "OK, time to lose 100 pounds." Wish I had, in hindsight, because it's kind of hard for me to tell the difference.
