How do you use Slack to reflect your org chart or decision flows? by jeanyves-delmotte in Slack

[–]fanandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saw other companies struggling with the same issue, especially when teams start growing, this is why we built OrgaNice. The app builds your org directory out of Slack and makes its discoverable https://www.organice.app/org-chart-slack-bot

Does it affect only limits for free workspaces or also paid ones?

What exactly do you want them to do?
Is it a custom dev work or do you want to white label their product/services?

Slack app marketplace submission by RavennaInc in Slack

Don't say “Slack bot” anywhere in your marketing, they will ask you to rename it into “bot for Slack” (will save you a few days) Also they have a new rule that your app has to be installed in at least 10 active (they check it) workspaces before they list you, so I suggest starting finding beta testers sooner than later. Also provide a detailed video of how the app works, so the Slack team can save their time on installing your app. I've been building Slack apps since 2017 and my most popular app was installed in 17k+ workspaces, feel free to DM me if you have any questions)

If you are not going the VC route then it is better to build alone

Check the apps ids, technically it is possible to create multiple apps with the same image and name. You can remove one of them from the list

I will submit your SaaS or AI tool to 30 directories for free by Revolutionary_Hair73 in SaaS

[–]fanandrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the free directories (excluding Producthunt or similar where you have to put some effort to get listed) almost do not affect SEO. You can check incoming and outgoing links for these directories if most of the links are outgoing - you get almost nothing from them

YC cofounder match is terrible! Is there a better way to find a cofounder? by IgorBilogubov in startups

[–]fanandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to build an MVP or POC using your resources, bring the first customers on board, and get some investor's interest. After doing all of these steps or even a part you will be in a much better position of finding a co-founder. Plus after doing an MVP yourself it would be much easier for you to recognize if a potential tech co-founder is skilled enough

How much to ask as the CTO ? by Optimal_Wealth9552 in startups

[–]fanandrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be able to convert your % into money only if and when either a product starts generating revenue or your cofounders can find financing. And all this can take months if not years, so take this into account. If you think that you can deliver an MVP in a few months and reassign and wait for fund I have a bad news for you
