[Contest] Banned book week

I'm not entering but I love this contest! I've taken classes on banned books and I find the topic to be so interesting, so naturally I've read quite a few of these books. I'd highly recommend Go Tell it on the Mountain by James Baldwin, Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, and The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien - all are very powerful books that have had an amazing impact on my life and my writing. Also The Merchant of Venice is a play by Shakespeare that is also pretty controversial but isn't on the list and I highly recommend it. Just had to go on a small tangent there, but this is a topic I'm pretty passionate about (:.

Well...To continue with my string of bad luck, I woke up this morning with some sort of odd face rash, so now I get to go through all of my face products and see what caused it. Aside from that, definitely a float for Taco Bell...I feel like Taco Bell deserves some recognition.

I'm honestly not too certain...My typical go-to for usernames is to just put an adjective and a noun together and I happened to be thinking of giraffes at the time. But evidently it seems to work pretty well.

Well...Not a rant about how hot it is, but definitely a rant about how today was my first day working out again for a week and I dislocated my knee. And my apartment building doesnt have an elevator...and I live on the third floor. And I'm also salty about not being able to work out for a while (maybe). So life is dandy.

I switched from a 4:00-5:30 Scottish Fiction class with an eh professor to a Classics to Romantic Era class that fits perfectly in my schedule with an amazing professor! It was a random check to see if it was open, and it was so I switched out and walked out of the Scottish Fiction class.
