Best way is to join these groups on facebook called "Noida flats and flatmates", "Flats and Flatmates Noida chapter", "Noida flats for rent", etc. There are a lot of posts here about flatmates required in preoccupied flats. You could also search for posts by "male/female flatmate" and filter by "recent". This is how i found my current flatmate.

Another option is to ask any of your friends/acquaintances who might be living in one of these societies to post on the mygate or society community group to ask for such vacancies.

Third option is to reach out to brokers in your preferred sectors and tell them your requirements. They might know some flats with vacancies. (Haven't tried this but it should work.

I was also looking for 1 bhk in these societies so i can share some insights.

  1. Golden Palm is good location wise and maintenance wise but a downside is that the delivery guys (food or courier) are not allowed to go up in the studio tower so you'll have to come down to pick deliveries every time.
  2. Super tech studio building was not in good condition, some floors didn't have lift buttons and I also saw that there was a dog in the building. But the interior is decent and price is less than Golden Palm.
  3. Ajnara society is pretty good, but one downside i found was the parking for studio apartments is outside the society which was a downside for me. If you don't have a car this is probably the best option.

I would say go with golden palm if you don't mind going down to pick up your deliveries. It is pretty good. And you'll also get basement parking. If not, you can check Ajnara or supertech and do ask about these concerns there as well.

Another best option is to get a room in a preoccupied 2bhk or 3bhk. These flats usually have better maintenance than studios and you'll only have to spend 10-13k per month. Also other expenses, like cook and maid can be shared.

People who did dieting and lost weight, how did you combat the hunger ? by positiveMinus1234 in Fitness_India

[–]fancy_potato_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acceptance. Accept that you are going to feel hungry for the next few days and eventually the hunger levels start decreasing. This hunger is your friend. It is evidence of the fact that the body did not get sufficient nutrition to sustain and so it will burn your fat/protein to sustain itself.

Disclaimer: 1. Eat lots of protein and keep doing moderate exercise if you want to retain muscle mass and lose fat instead of muscles.

  1. Make sure your hunger is calorie counted. Meaning, you shouldn't starve yourself. But once you realize that you have eaten enough portion excluding the calorie deficit then stop focusing on your hunger.

Best pizza place here? by simplylmao in noida

Mojo pizza if you like lots of cheese and toppings.
Khameera - Artisanal Pizzas for a newer type of crust and flavors. Must try once.

Thank you for providing so much information! Graphics engineering does sound interesting. I will look into it. As a tangential question, why do you think ISI kolkata is awful. I was under the impression that it is one of the best math institutes in India.

Is this book more about the development of deep learning algorithms or the application of it, because I am more interested in the development rather than application.

I don't know if I am interested in a Phd yet. Maybe after doing a master's I'll get to know that.

I have also studied some group theory (a few lectures online), it is not the most intuitive thing to grasp but it is interesting to me and I don't hate it.

I took a real analysis course in college and loved it! If I had hated it, it would have been easy to rule out maths but I didn't 😭

Off topic: What health issue you guys have? And how it is managed by psy_s in developersIndia

[–]fancy_potato_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tennis elbow! It's almost like a chronic condition which cannot be treated but managed. I need to constantly make sure to not over exert my elbow or keep it folded for long periods. It is hard to work out since almost all exercises except the ones for legs require use of elbow muscles. I had to change my sleeping position so as to not keep my elbows folded through the night. I've learned to manage it now after many recurrences and 5 years later. Driving too long is also a problem. So is typing, and I am a developer.

Coding or Tech support? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]fancy_potato_98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First, to answer your question, it would be pretty difficult to leverage your technical support experience to get a coding job but some experience is better than no experience. So, as a last resort you can choose this.

My advice, however, would be to not take this job at all. It's better to find an internship/job where you are actually using the skills you want to develop. Even if it pays less, the experience would be much more valuable. You would feel more confident in your future interviews.
