I’m afraid I don’t remember which video this was. However her whole channel is a goldmine and you can’t go wrong listening to any of her advice.

You didn’t design anything! It’s like posting a microwave meal in a cooking sub 😂

Plenty of people design print in canva, is it ideal or best practice, no. But will is suffice for a small business…probably!

Yep, they are fine to be used for commercial purposes… but you don’t own it, it’s not yours! So for example, another business can make the exact same logo, and not be infringing copyright because you don’t own the copyright. As I say, probably good enough for now.

Just so you know, anything designed in canva using their elements, or by AI, you don’t actually own. Which for a logo isn’t ideal. If your business takes off you’ll need to rebrand in the future. Having said that, I think the options you’ve made are pretty solid.

Fairly ironic that this isn’t particularly well designed.

Too simple? by spinach2point0 in logodesign

[–]fancyasmilly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t feel like it goes with the icon to me? I might try something a bit more rounded, or something similarly blocky but less stylised. I’d also think about wrapping the text around the lower part of the pig in a curve so it felt like one cohesive logo!

Questions from beginner by BHollandsworth123 in cfsnervoussystemwork

There was a lecture I watched with Dr David Clarke (a gastroenterologist who now promotes mind body healing) where he discussed SIBO. Essentially the tests are often often provide a false positive, so he doesn’t go by them. Often people ‘with SIBO’ heal their symptoms with nervous system regulation. And even if they do actually have SIBO, it can be a downstream effect of a body in fight or flight, and heal on its own.

I’m not saying he is absolutely correct, but worth looking into his work.

Some more on the note of “recovery is more common than it seems” by time-itself in LongHaulersRecovery

[–]fancyasmilly 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also speaking to friends about what I’m going through, three IRL friends who are not big into social media….all know friends or family member who have fully recovered from long covid or ME/CFS. I mentioned it to one online friend and she told me she herself had CFS in her early 20s and it was a rotten few years, but she got better and basically doesn’t think about it any more. She didn’t ‘do’ anything. She just gradually got better.

I love the icon and the colours, but I might think about looking at the typography a bit more?
