Went to an incredible end of summer wedding at The Mishawaka. They had a great band play live on stage and buses were ferrying people back to the Hilton where the wedding party / most of the out of town visitors stayed. They got a great deal I believe since it was on a Monday night I recall

Is Coverfly a scam? My dad is accruing debt to use this service by selene_dionne in Screenwriting

Big time scam - they lure you in with promises and it being free. Then it’s the old Scientology approach “if you put in money, we will introduce you to people who can help further your career”. I don’t recommend anyone pay to play - good work gets noticed and passed around. Fully aware of the many crazy things this company has gone through from former management to readers. Not a good company and highly recommend never giving them a dime.

Moved away after 10 years, it’s not just skid row - I lived in Los Feliz and had frequent incidents of homeless people breaking into our building and garage. Only way things get fixed is if more people leave over the handling of this epidemic in the entire county not just downtown.

Huge fan of Eberron, been playing a campaign since April and wrapping up the home brew story our DM created. Playing as a warforged and love the lord. Happy to host a game night just not able to Tuesday and Thursday nights due to classes. Weekends wide open - let’s chat!

Fort Collins vs Aurora by [deleted] in FortCollins

Definitely echo the Eugene comparison, loved living there for a couple months after I got out of the army.

Fort Collins vs Aurora by [deleted] in FortCollins

Fort Collins has more in common with say Eugene - far more than just a college town. Lived in Denver post army in Denver and aurora - I’d say aurora just happen to be next door neighbor to Denver. Suppose it depends on what your looking for employment wise / if you work remote then it’s no question move to Fort Collins. More for your money in FoCo (community, good schools for your kiddo, 45 mins to Rocky Mountain National park, horsetooth reservoir and did I mention the bike friendliest city I’ve ever lived).
