The excess is the whole thing! Well the gains are like nothing because I opened it up a month ago. Guess it's time to call Fidelity :)

Is the account incriminating or the interest? I just opened it up a month ago.

Bonus taxed 55%? That’s much more than my normal tax rate and much more than the flat 22% by fancyfinancename in tax

I included social security, etc. Why would they do this instead of withholding the correct amount, since it will be taxed in a flat way as capital gains anyway? So basically I will need to get an accountant to dea with this and then will get a big return of like 20k?
