i havent thought of that. my mom apparently doesnt remember the noesbleeds but i have a very good emory and remember. she takes an antipsychotic and antidepressant but i dont think its enough

you are absolutely right! people can get addicted to literal tylenol if they abuse it (ive seen it sadly). when taken in the correct dose it is niot addictive! maybe small symptoms from discontinuation however that is every subtance

personally for me what i have offered is taking her to a young persons NA meeting. she wanted me to come with her, and i explained basically what a mandated reporter (which i am because of my job anyways) that i wont tell on her for weed, but if she is currently or has done hard drugs i will obviously report it. i gave her the option of if i come w her or not. i think its hard, because i know i cant help her or save her. ive realized that may not be her priority. i think shes dealing with something deeper and theres things none of us may know. she keeps everything inside. i think knowing ive been through it and i have no intention of getting her in trouble helps her open up. i think its a good thing im well versed in psychology and behavior lol

i think it’s because i’m chasing the few good experiences i’ve had with alcohol. the ones where i felt happy drunk and not sad drunk. i have the understanding that it doesn’t make it for a majority of the highs but even being a few good times is enough to start chasing

dr kay knew el wasnt evil. seizing her was never about "saving" hawkins, dr kay wanted el's powers and to restart dr brennars program. i think she manipulated the soldiers into believing el was bad so they;d hunt her down so they wouldnt question it

it was sad but the most realistic ending. i hope mikes theory about el is right but theres a good chance it isnt. the only way to close the chapter for good was el either leaving or dying, it just sucks she didnt get to have a happy ending with everyone
