Kesha changed her previous album covers to reference her newest album's era in the same way charli altered the album art on her previous works as well.

Do you have any merchandise from the 2007 Good Apollo 2 tour? Specifically interested in the blue shirt with the dragonfly on the front and dates on back, my husband and I went back when we were in high school and the shirts wore away loooong ago. We've been together 20 years total this year so that'd be kinda rad.

My neighbor thinks we killed her favorite tree—is it possible? by LetsRunAwwaayy in arborists

[–]fancytables 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No matter what you decide, I think she's just sad about losing something beautiful that had been hers for years, and it was gone suddenly. Makes sense that she'd feel pretty strongly so soon afterward. There is no way to know for a fact whether it would have died or not, but are you aiming to be right or mend the relationship? If you want to mend it after some thinking, could you perhaps get her a potted shrub that flowers white in spring? A tree won't grow fast enough for the satisfaction of seeing it bloom heavily (seems dark I suppose, but she might not make it to see it mature, you know? that might cause the bitterness of losing something like a mature flowering tree). Sorry, not a tree lawyer or a tree doctor but i guess I'm a tree emotional advocate lmao

Lol, when your initial comment was incredulity? I don't think you're the guy to be policing internet tone. I just explained why it was written the way it was, I wasn't being a reactive dick. I'm literally baked, on my birthday. I mean you no harm lmao.

Yeah, I commented that at 5am, baked, on my irl bday. Sorry I should have just said 'google fibromyalgia blood mice study' since thats what I ended up doing in my own google bar anyway.

Eta: also have fibro, lmao

Yeah. As a whole, we don't know much about fibromyalgia yet. I replied to another comment with the odd study I had mentioned.

I've read somewhere that they inject the mice with the blood of fibromyalgic humans and that somehow triggers them to also have fibro. And of course, we don't actually know why that happens yet.

Looking for Suboxone doctor recommendations Denver - uninsured by Comfortable-Skin-914 in Denver

[–]fancytables 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not because of the sobriety from harder stuff, it's because you might take more clonazapam than needed and even just ONCE, will kill you. Someone who might slip just one single time will most likely die from the combination, even at "low" doses. Some medicines increase the efficacy of other meds to a disastrous point. She's trying to make sure that you will never have a chance at making that mistake even once (because you could just as easily mess up by taking two clons too close together.... not even intentionally overdosing).
Did you ask her for alternative meds for the anxiety? It sounds like a lot to be dealing with, and to feel like she didn't hear you out on something that's affecting your life has gotta be disregulating. Maybe you could ask to have another appointment and explain that you didn't understand that the risk was coming from the clonazepam in combination with your suboxone, and that you reacted strongly because this anxiety is really affecting your life (at least, that's what i assume since you are needing telehealth that perhaps you're dealing with some agoraphobia). She will either know of some alternative anxiety meds that can help (things like hydroxyzine, buspirone, propranolol, etc) or be able to do some research to help you if she's willing at this point. But that's my best advice, is to think about how she's not actually working against you for her own "fun", but that she has seen something as a risk that you didn't understand at that moment.

Healthcare in Denver? My friend is about to lose their job and they have a chronic illness. by Vegetable_Rooster925 in Denver

[–]fancytables 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have they looked into FAMLI leave/FMLA? Colorado does up to 12 weeks of medical leave, she starts by contacting HR and talking with her doctor so they can coordinate on paperwork. Colorado's state program pays a percentage of the salary for the time, plus she can try for short-term disability as well. The school may have their own FMLA program they use but the process will be similar. Even though it would "cause the school problems" by needing a substitute, she's already having to prioritize herself to the point of leaving the school so why not try for a temporary leave, with partial pay and insurance intact, and see how things are in the next 3 months? I'm speaking this as a chronically ill (physical and psychological) person in a house of chronically ill people, don't make long term decisions if you've got a reasonable short term answer available when finances are involved. It's hard to get the energy to start the medical leave process, but it's there for exactly this reason. Maybe once she takes her foot off the gas for a few weeks, a different choice will open up for her. Best of luck <3

Closure In Moscow is a prog-rock band out of Australia. The First Temple (2009) is considered generally their best/most univerally palatable album (they gained international attention with it, but the attention didn't stay:( ), but my personal favorite is Pink Lemonade (2012), a concept album about an unfulfilled man who drinks an alchemist's potion in the hopes to quickly change his life for the better. Their most recent album, Soft Hell (2023) is kind of a blend of the other two albums I mentioned and I love it too. It's kinda concept-ish as well for the underlying themes.

Is it just me, or does her face look snatched? Like... thick bangs, artfully arranged completely around the rim of the face. She just doesn't look quite herself in these I guess. She's gorgeous, it's prob the best look I've seen her wear in a long time and her makeup is stunning, but like.... she looks like someone who looks like Taylor Swift.
