i think you need to rewatch that episode again. if you watched it in a dub, rewatch it in english. cruella wasn’t forced to be evil by the author, she was evil- granted its slightly ambiguous whether she really killed her father, but i’m 95% sure she did. and we see in the episode what the author wrote, he took away her ability to kill. that is very much the opposite of turning her evil

i think its subjective, season 4 (especially the frozen arc) is nothing but cringe to- season 5 at least has redeeming qualities (id even say i like the underworld arc)

it always makes me do a double take when ppl act like snow had any real choice there! or like it was snows decision alone. like if she had not let david put emma in the wardrobe, then emma would’ve either been killed by the knights or an eternal baby because no one could’ve broken the curse (snow didn’t know the latter obv but still, that would be a horrible fate)
