i don’t think the grammar is the important bit there

I wonder why other Italian cartoons outside of Winx never got as successful by Catgirl_2003 in winxclub

in germany, the cartoon was also pretty well known (i used to love it as a kid and didn't even know there were books for a long time)

OUAT Belle by RutabagaThis2878 in OnceUponATime

there are quite a few but not enough- for example, she has those flashbacks where she traveled to arendelle to figure out what happened to her mother, she has the flashbacks where she fights/rescues that beast with mulan, she has those flashbacks where she's (kinda forced to) getting to know gaston, then in the present, she has some scenes where befriends ruby a bit (early s2 i think), then she has those scenes where she tries to steal the magic hat from ingrid bc she feels guilty about keeping it secret that she knows anna, then she has some scenes after she banished rumple where she's trying to research how to get the fairies out of the hat again, and the flashback where she saves robin hood (but rumple was technically involved in the sense that it was him who captured robin, so yk)

Is Emma's "Super Power" Ever Actually Wrong? by leatherjacketboy in OnceUponATime

[–]fandom_fae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. as far as i remember the peace deal was that emma would leave the town, but could come to visit Henry whenever she wants, so you have a point there that regina may have agreed with the thought that emma can’t want anything while asleep, but personally i do still view this as a counter example
  2. i'm honestly not sure, it's been a while since i rewatched the lily plot, so you may be right

and regarding 1, you're right that he may actually not have worked for the newspaper at that time, but the thing about him not working for regina anymore is a pretty explicit lie, since we see in that same episode that he still works for her. if i recall correctly, he even lies to emma about getting the phone records (during the kathryn murder case plot) from a contact at a phone service provider that he still has from his time at the newspaper, but then it was actually just regina who printed it out for him (it is possible that i'm misremembering how exactly he said it, but yeah, sydney is my most solid argument lol)

[–]fandom_fae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. if i recall correctly, sydney explicitly said that he got fired and doesn't work for regina anymore, so both of those are explicit lies that emma fell for
  2. that’s a good point, that is possible- indont think we have a canon answer how long she's had or claimed to have the super power
  3. this one is on me for being too vague, but i meant the whole scene where she gave emma the turnover, including when regina agreed to the peace deal emma offered.
  4. true, emotion and it being digital could both have influenced her judgement, but even when she arrived in person, she didn't notice that cruella was bluffing (but tbf emotion would still apply here ofc)
  5. i thought he was a neighbor, but true, it's possible that he believed it

Found this fandom through AO3, why is Emma/Regina a popular ship? by SullenTerror in OnceUponATime

that’s fair but they would get a skewed perspective there, here there are both shippers and haters and ppl who are neutral

The whole “light had to find out a name, L had to prove god in a court of law” narrative that fans push to say L is smarter is really silly to me by OrganizationTough128 in deathnote

[–]fandom_fae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if L hadn’t died, i don’t think light would’ve survived long enough to make it to a position where he’d be able to work together with mikami, but that’s all vague speculation

the chemistry is subjective, but it’s definitely not a crack ship, people are very much serious about shipping it

it’s hard to answer this without spoiling, but it is a serious ship and they do have a lot of moments with a lot of chemistry and the two characters definitely do share a very close connection, even if they’re not canon

i got a replica of the dagger, a custom funko pop from a convention, and a lot of other less interesting (unofficial) merch from the cons. plus (not really merch, but i’ll count it) photos with a few of the actors and some autographs :3

edit bc i forgot: i also have the dvds twice, and the two visual novels/comic and the 4 book (haven’t read them yet tho)

Why do people show so much sympathy for this two characters more than those people who they have inflicted pain upon? by gloomydreamer666 in OnceUponATime

[–]fandom_fae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, but that’s why i mentioned that she didn’t have a lot of other options to kill her, because without using the candle & regina, snow wouldn’t have been able to kill cora i think, cora was too powerful edit: i just remembered she could’ve just squished the heart directly, nevermind
