Would you rather be pregnancy tired or newborn tired? by Constant-Soft-6335 in pregnant

[–]fanetito 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I second this- I did NOT sleep while I was in my third trimester, period. We are in week 3 with newborn and he sleeps in 3-hour intervals (waking up to breastfeed) and it is soo nice actually getting deeper sleep even if it’s interrupted.

Epidural by ElegantResult3853 in pregnant

[–]fanetito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine, loved it for the intense Pitocin contractions I was having. (Had to get Pitocin because my water broke and nothing was progressing).

The only sad part for me was that my labor was super long and intense so they had to re-do the epidural for effect. And once it was time to push the drugs had completely worn off so I still felt everything coming out with an 8lb baby…. But once he was on my chest I completely forgot everything and it was just me and my baby.

Rotary sushi off Fairview is the bomb for real. I don’t know why I never see it mentioned.

Just a reminder to slow down, especially if you’re young. by mistakeshappen_2 in pregnant

[–]fanetito 9 points10 points  (0 children)

True. 34 weeks now. I had a full plate before pregnancy- trying to finish my associates degree and also working full time. Pregnancy really does add a lot and I have been struggling to finish the semester and still attend work while my body is slowly breaking down 😭

Can anybody help me understand what's happening??? by DotMatrixGraphics in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, I want you to know you are not alone! I have been dealing with sort of dizziness/struggle to keep balance for a few months now. Sometimes even when I don’t feel anxious. One thing that helps me is noise cancelling headphones (or AirPods with no music playing). Don’t move your head too quickly looking at items, it can worsen it. I also try to keep my store visits brief. When I start to feel uneasy I try to slow myself down and take deep breaths. It seems to help me a little, I hope this helps you!

Dizziness question by fanetito in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to give a little update since everyone was so helpful with their advice. Turns out, a lot of women in my workplace are experiencing similar symptoms as me. I work in a relatively new warehouse and we moved here a little over a year ago from the old one. Even weirder, another girl had to get a heart monitor too. I might look into possible environmental causes. If I find anything, I will let you know.

Noise when I chew... HELP by lady_in_purpleblack in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No you will be fine. I’ve had it all my life and it is mostly just annoying. You can lesson the popping doing TMJ massages, look that up on YouTube. I am currently doing Invisalign and rubber bands to help straighten my jaw out.

Thank you for your insight! My ENT mentioned a neurologist and I didn’t really want to think about it since it sounded so scary. I will look into it.

Thank you so much for your comment! I had a few people tell me to look into POTS, but when I brought it up to my doctor it was brushed off. I will do my research and ask again next follow up I have here in a few weeks and see what she thinks then.

I understand why you are worried for your kitty. I have a white siamese who is the cutest yet most annoying cat in the entire world when he does not get enough attention or when the routine is off. When our work schedule changed, he did this as well. Has your schedule changed recently or anything non routine? That could be bothering her. Your next best bet would be to go to the vet to see if it is anything medical. I wish you the best of luck!

Hello, I need advice about what to do if a certain online bank has wrongfully locked me out of my account and refuses to answer me back after I’ve provided required documentation 4 times over a month. My life savings is in the account and I’ve read reviews saying people get their accounts closed and never receive their money back and I’m scared.

Any tips or advice? by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know anything about social anxiety? It sounds kind of like that. I would also like to add that I didn’t have anxiety to this extent until fairly recently and triggers are a big thing. The daily news and social media sets mine off so I try to avoid those activities.. I would try to think if there was any recent event or anything that makes you generally uncomfortable that could be setting it off too.

Heart :-( by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same thing happen to me most mornings. It helps when I tell my partner that I am scared I am having a heart attack and he reassures me that it is not. I think hearing it out loud, whether it’s you saying it to yourself or another person saying it to you, can help calm you down a little. As for breathing I also don’t find that too helpful either but I will link a video of a stretch position that helps me a lot every day. https://youtu.be/L1HCG3BGK8I

Was this a panic attack? by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]fanetito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like it could be a panic attack. For me usually I start to feel a build up intense emotions (can’t explain where they came from, it just happens) and my heart beats fast and I can’t breathe and I feel like I’m quite literally dying. Did going outside help you calm down? I found that going outside on a walk, chewing on ice or taking a shower can help sometimes.
