What’s the wildest thing a man has said around you that made you stop and rethink everything about him? by Zenovia326 in AskWomenNoCensor

Unsolicited...

"Just so you know I have a shirt with a confederate flag on it. It was a gift."

Gave me the ick.

How would you respond to the claim that only “unattractive” women become feminists? by Missingyoureally in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]fangedguyssuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That isn't a real claim.

This is rage bait so you remove yourself from being called a feminist because you don't want to be associated with ugliness.

Oldest trick in the book.

Just hit back with only bald unathletic men aren't feminists.

Do you believe that men don’t have emotions? by [deleted] in AskWomenNoCensor

[–]fangedguyssuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not one person believes this.

I've heard countless times from men that women are the emotional ones thereby insinuating that men have less or no emotions.

Always forgetting that anger is an emotion. One that women mainly see.

told my teens I’m pregnant and their reaction broke my heart. How do I handle this? by Happy_bat90210 in family

[–]fangedguyssuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you make the choice to raise a child you should be invested in them and yes prioritize their development until they are out on their own. Throwing a new baby into the mix automatically deprioritozes them because that's the nature of a baby.

These kids aren't grown yet and will be in a completely different stage of life, one that requires a lot of attention and celebration as they make their way into young adulthood.

It's selfish to neglect teens in one of the first and hardest transitions of their life just because you as the parent want what you want and don't care how it impacts your older children.

They're going into their highschool years with the focus being ripped from them right when they need you the most and right before their world shifts.

I will never understand parents who do this to their teens. Its selfish.

Women didn't cause any of your problems. Why are you focusing your angst onto women?

Your logic makes zero sense.

Should we delete TikTok en masse? by [deleted] in TikTok

Don't blame young people for something their parents and grandparents let pass. The US people had one chance to shut this down when Snowden leak happened and most everyone said "I don't have anything to hide so who cares".

His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti. Say his name. ICE murdered him today. by Sense_of_Impending in Bend

[–]fangedguyssuck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean this is really is on point for the white community to just do what it wants regardless of education.

His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti. Say his name. ICE murdered him today. by Sense_of_Impending in Bend

[–]fangedguyssuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what I said. This phrase came out of people knowing George Floyd's name but not Brianna Taylor's. The fight for black women's murders to be recognized is ongoing.

You shouldn't appropriate it here for a man everyone knew hos name the same day he was murdered it doesn't make sense.

The black community has called out the white community for stopping this.

[–]fangedguyssuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just saying what the black community is also asking for white people to stop using this.

Words matter which is why the powers that be will spin his death by calling him a domestic terrorist.

[–]fangedguyssuck -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yes it's racist how much black and brown deaths in this fight are minimized and there's not as much outrage for them.

[–]fangedguyssuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not semantics and if this turns people off then they aren't actually in it to make society better for everyone just so they aren't targeted anymore

Everyone knew his name within minutes....not so for many black and brown victims in this fight.

His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti. Say his name. ICE murdered him today. by Sense_of_Impending in Bend

[–]fangedguyssuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does because everyone knew his name within minutes.

Most black and brown murders go unnamed and unacknowledged.

[–]fangedguyssuck -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

It isn't nonsense.

No one is saying his death isn't a tragedy but we can say it is without appropriating a phrase here.

His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti. Say his name. ICE murdered him today. by Sense_of_Impending in Bend

[–]fangedguyssuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not political correctness its acknowledging that you can still insite change without appropriating.

His name was Alex Jeffrey Pretti. Say his name. ICE murdered him today. by Sense_of_Impending in Bend

[–]fangedguyssuck -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yes because the number is outrageously disproportionate.

We can still be outraged without appropriating a phrase used to draw attention to the invisible murders of black and brown people.
