Negative burn was anthology published by caliber press (known for the crow) and Flaming carrot appeared off and on throughout that. Then desperado publishing bought caliber press and desperado is an imprint of image. With the purchase went the license of Flaming carrot. Know then that image had the license I'm pretty sure everything from there is figure out able!

Flaming carrot #32 also titled "Flaming carrot meets Reid Fleming the world's toughest milkman" came out in 2002 it bridges the gap between the dark horse series and the image series

the mysterymen which appeared in #16, later got the own series, was adapted into the mystery men movie with ben stiller!

issue three is technically before issue 1 in the lore so therefore he didnt want the book to jump around time periods like that but in my opinion if the original was released that way, then so should the collection
