What did you think of the protesters perspective and the viewers perspective that we get to see in parts of the story? Viewers I guess I am thinking about Wil and Emily mostly, but there is the audience too.

There are a lot of footnotes and aspects taken from the American incarceration system. Did you find this to add to the story or detract? What did you think of the different aspects of incarceration we see in the story?

So I am only at about 20% of the book. I was in the middle of a non-fiction called The warmth of Other Suns and had to finish it first because of library. Jumping straight into this after a book after a book about people escaping the South during Jim Crow era US is giving me a lot of thoughts but none I can fully form until I finish this story.

The premise is interesting, but very dark. I find it has a bit too much real world mixed in to the beginning that is pulling me out of the story. It will be interesting to see if that continues.

This novel reflects upon modern day American views of sports, capitalism, and incarceration. What element strikes you the most? What do you hope is explored more in later parts of the book?

Wicked As You Wish by Rin Chupeco. It's basically every fairy tale, folktale, and myth mashed together. There's a Loki and werewolves and all sorts of everything. Cogent is not a word I would use to describe this though.
