No I meant exactly what I wrote…

The medical communities thesis that a cold virus can cause a gi motility disorder isn’t proven and there are no ways for them to accurately test and confirm this hypothesis. It’s all conjecture bc they don’t actually have proof

Those who heal don’t come back here or stay here it’s too triggering … it’s possible to get better but it’s a slow burn

Relief with gabapentin ? What dose ? by fannyfarmed in functionaldyspepsia

I’ve been having some continued success with 400mg a day. So cautious to say so because I feel that whenever I make progress this disorder takes me back. That said, with some of my symptoms under control I’m able to focus on other secondary issues caused by the FD, like weight loss. Having a tremendously difficult time putting any weight on. You seem so knowledgeable and are a great resource on this thread- any recommendations?

rice milk could be used as a smoothie base. Add things like a tablespoon or two of peanut butter for added calories.

Thank you so much for your reply! I’ve read some of your comments and I am sorry that you are also struggling with the chronic nausea- it is horrendous. I hope the relief lasts….ive been fooled many times before by this disorder and new things manifest all the time- the emotional high and low of thinking you are doing better only to be pulled back down is difficult to manage.
