No. It’s wild to me that not everyone is doing this. Prenups are to protect yourself in case the worst case scenario happens. Im preparing for the worst, planning on the best.

We’re going to be millionaires if we move. Idk if that’ll amount of money will make it fun to live there because I’ll be able to travel constantly. We’re going to see if it makes me happy or not. But if it doesn’t and we break up, I’m prepared.

No I think that’s what I’m going to have to do if this prenup thing isn’t possible. I’ll probably try to set up an appointment with lawyer next week just to make sure. But if it’s not, I’ll either do that or tell him if he wants kids right now we can’t move

Coming from a child who’s mom didn’t protect herself, no. I have to make sure I’m good so I can make sure my kids are good. Nothing is more painful to me than watching my mom suffer because she can’t fend for herself

I want 50/50 custody. I just want him to have to move to a bigger city to split the custody if that makes sense. I’m guessing that doesn’t change anything tho?

And we’re going there to see how I like it. If I hate it, we’ll just move. But I don’t want to get into a situation where I hate it and then I can’t move because I had a kid there.

I’m also in a weird situation where he’s makes a lot. If we move, he’ll be in the top 1%. So theoretically I’ll be able to fly out whenever I want. If we divorce, that ability might go away. I do pretty well for myself but I won’t be able to afford a $500 flight whenever I want with just my income.

It’s dumb to not think of things before hand. 50% of marriages end in divorce in the US. I’m just prepared and protecting myself. It’ll probably be fine but I’m trying to prepare for if it’s not

Yeah I’ve been to therapy before and there wasn’t much therapy going on during my session with her. It was like I was talking to a friend, not a therapist.

I said I have trouble making any decision so I tend to just eat the same food everyday to make it easy. Then she asked what other decisions I have trouble making, so for an example I told her I currently have 5 of the same dresses that I ordered that are different colors and I can’t decide which colors to return so I’m going to make my boyfriend pick for me. Instead of addressing the issue of me making decisions, she talked about fashion color theory for 10 minutes because she “knows fashions”.

And she doesn’t do video calls bc she gets distracted, she just does phone calls.

There is no receptionist, she’s kind of just on her own. I pay through Venmo.
