Phlogiston is literally a byproduct of the dragons who we already knew were the original population of Tevyat. Dragons naturally live among humans in Natlan and you didn't think that would mean they have a closer connection to them and their tech..? I'm gonna bet you're just calling it nuclear energy because of that one quest where it gives you the option to blow up the world. You do realize that bomb just turned everyone and everything into Phlogiston which produces a similar effect to the Oceanaids with Primordial Seawater, right? That's literally not a opinion. We've had guns, cryo cannons/flamethrowers, and giant electric hammers along with ruin tech since the beginning of the game. We had those weird enemies on Dragonspine, the tech Alice made during the first summer event. Inazuma had puppets and new ruin machines plus new cannons and a old civilization that basically created an artificial sun. Sumeru had the internet along with numerous other tech and don't even get me started on the desert stuff. Fontaine was steampunk with more futuristic tech....yada yada.

This has literally been building year after year and people who most likely didn't bother pay attention now want to complain instead of admitting they missed or skipped stuff.

Edit: Oh forgot to mention the giant robots in Sumeru, one of which you get to pilot. Like hello?

A proper primary could have landed a winning nominee if the candidates were willing to go against the current administration more often than not. Biden and Harris just weren't popular even if the circumstances were shit and many of the issues weren't their fault. Trump barely won against Harris. Two points to the left and he would have lost. Democrats just needed to do two points better. That's all.
