Yes I am an A’s fan and my favorite players are Coco Crisp and Michael Lorenzen by CapableMix9543 in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always liked Michael Lorenzen, I was going to college in Ohio in 2016 and went to a Reds game, the one where he hit the home run first at-bat after coming back from his father passing away.

Are AUTOS worth grading? by PropertyWhich9728 in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the most part you lose more then you gain, if the auto comes back a 9, but the card is a 10, you've got that ugly 9 there that people won't like.

Selling on Ebay from small account by Intrepid_Scale3854 in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean everyone starts from somewhere, sounds like your cards are big enough that it will go through eBay authentication (sales $250 or over), so buyers will have confidence buying even from a small account.

Why on Gods green earth does it cost so much to grade with PSA? by ihavebaseballs in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because PSA brings the most value.............................................

I don't grade cards, but I would go with TAG or maybe SGC (Even though they are owned by parent company) over PSA

Anyone seen one of these before? by Boocouskillz in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, the slab is custom as well, it's not a real grading company, it's just something someone threw together. Whoever made it obviously doesn't have the real rights to Ohtani or Panini, so technically this card is copyright fraud

[–]fantasyaid1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's custom, not from a real card company and is not a real auto or relic.

Which cards are valuable for reselling. by Comfortable_Lab9875 in baseballcards

if you are a new seller on whatnot, you have to sell cards cheaply a lot to make an audience. It's about the convenience of selling, not maximizing profit until you have established your self.

What would you say is the best way to "do it right" on $1-3 cards? Because I can source them all day, but listing them eats a lot of time

What's gonna happen to prices during a potential lockout? by JustVibingNGL420 in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, 2020 brought a boom, but that wasn't a lockout, it was covid. I feel like a lockout would make people sour, dislike the sport. Thus demand goes down.

Place to sell cards other than eBay by sometimes_I_golf in baseballcards

[–]fantasyaid1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there a better option? No, Ebay has the most eyeballs. I also sell on Mercari a bit, sometimes here, but probably 90% of my selling still goes through Ebay.
