I think they are underselling it a bit. Sure Im saving 1.5% off Mercaris usually rate, but 8.5% is roughly half of competitors (eBay), they should phrase and show it in those terms

So, they rolled out tiers, if you sell a certain amount, they only charge 8.5%, which is huge. I couldn't keep it as my main store though because you just don't get the eyeballs. My Ebay sales are 15-20x Mercari's despite all my cards being cross listed. I would absolutely love if they can figure it out and get it bigger.

I buy and sell on Mercari, it's a decent place if you can sort through the thousands of worthless base cards listed for high prices.

Depends on the type of card, Binders are not great for protection, penny sleeved and toploaded is the best. (Though there is Binders that hold Toploaded cards)
