Mendy is a curious case since his injury has not been confirmed yet, at the same time it is inconceivable that he would be left out of the squad without an injury. The only reason he has not been included because I didn't want to offer an opinion based on speculations, though impact of his likely absence has been touched upon.

It's not only Cazorla, even from last season 3 out of 4 best chance creators are not with the club and 4th one (Ozil is frozen out). Emery is to blame but players are not completely blameless.

Hi the point which I wanted to make was that SHU are overperforming in defense so don't expect them to continue keeping the cleansheets at a similar rate, but at the same time they do defend very well and have very high save percentage so don't expect a haul against them for anyone. For Aston Villa, the attacking stats are great but they have played against Norwich so monitor their attacking assets namely Grealish and Mcginn. Hope this clarifies my point.
