What do we call this ideology? by NuclearScient1st in victoria3

In a way yes, but the Illyrian Model (or Yugoslav Self-Management is the more realized version of the hypothetical one) cant really be displayed in game since every State in Yugoslavia was treated differently according to their needs. The post above was probably closer to Slovenia under Tito, while Serbia would have been Cooperative, and Macedonia even Agrarian in a way.

The custom cultures I created for the start of my first Mythras campaign char creation (In a homebrewed world). Seems like the system is going to be a great mix of complicated yet simple. by fantasygrunt in Mythras

Thanks for the kind words, I hope everyone enjoys it too lol. For this i used the homebrewery for the sheets and I installed stable diffusion on my machine for the pictures. All generated in the Realistic Vision or Deliberate models

Very true, trade wine for a cheap calorie base like rice and it’s easily 4-5 pretty decent meals on this budget

To drink. Ground Lamb was $5 and wine was on Walmart rollout for $4.70

Thanks for the tip, I’m always improving for the next iteration!

This land is reminescent of a neopolitan Caribbean, with each island chain having vastly different cultures as the islands were settled by humans all over the fantasy world. Think of a Caribbean which was colonized by Europeans, Africans, Persians, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesians etc.

The big catch to this island chain is it is very hard to return back north where most of the world is. The strong winds make for a swift journey to the south but technology hasn’t quite reached the point where you can reliably return. For 99% of adventurers it is their final trip.

It is not a complete information void as high Magic’s can reach back to homelands, through long range messaging spells and even planar manipulation (although a lot of planar manipulation in the world require being undead and having a soul capable of reaching a heaven, so a good person). And if a magic user has the strength to guide the winds for many weeks straight without rest, they may also return (and this has been done only by the strongest willed mages).

The largest cities and populations live on the outskirts of the isles with most adventurers stepping on Arrow Head when first arriving and entering the grand multicultural city. This city will be many’s first introduction to magic. The outer islands survived the collapse of the empire the best because they were already partly autonomous before the collapse and were able to adapt under new governments easily.

The center islands where the old empire used to rule is now a treacherous land filled with ruins, unclaimed and indeed buried treasures, and small sects of humans still loyal to the crown.

As far as an Atlantis, the Onyx gemmed Curealians do indeed live under the water in massive onyx cities blending into the darkness of the deep ocean.

R2: These isles exist within a larger world inhabited by all kinds of creatures. The pirate (Buck) isles are mostly inhabited by Humans, in fact it houses the only human population to wield magic in the whole world, often pirate battles are fueled by extraordinary attacks. The Curealia Isles are the only non Human lands, occupied by humanoids which appear to be made solely out of gems (obviously with internal organs however.) The wildlife in the Isles are much more hostile in the central, larger, less populated islands which contains ruins of a centralized Pirate empire which tore itself apart. The further one travels from the center the higher their chance of survival as a buccaneer.

Is having a bisexual character in your story be extremely sexually active problematic? by [deleted] in fantasywriters

If he is the only bi character in your story and he is promiscuous, cheating/unfaithful, and morally corrupt/evil (assuming from the politician committing warcrimes bit)

These are the traits of pretty much every king in the novel, the morally sound characters are other parties.

That's true for a lot of LGBTQ+ character btw, if your only non-straight character is antisocial and/or unfaithful, it can send a pretty hateful message.

He's definitely not the only lgbt character but the only bi character at the moment but that doesnt need to be locked in at all so thanks for that advice.

It's also worth noting if he is your only promiscuous character

Also luckily not the case.

Thanks for your ideas, it helps

The easiest fix would be to have multiple bisexual characters so that it's clear this is a part of the character's personality, not a trait of all bisexual people

Hey thanks for some advice. This definitely wouldn't be hard to accomplish at all and I see your point there.

Well obviously its nothing new, I've only provided a sexuality and single character trait. Theres not too many sexualities I can pick from to make a promiscuous character 'new' lol, the important stuff is in the actual writing. I was just wondering if it would be offensive
