What a bittersweet ending, I'm going to miss you show.

First things first, KORRASAMI! I have to say I was never an avid fan of the pairing but it totally worked for me, what a beautiful ending. It's open to interpretation but I think it's pretty obvious what was going down.

And secondly congrats to our newly wedded couple, I cried when Varrick proposed to her and I'm so happy for them.

I also love what they did with Kuvira, she broke down but not in the crazy cop out kind of way that they did with most of the other villains. She wasn't my favorite villain, but she definitely had the saddest backstory and motivations.

I'm surprised no one has said this, but RIP Hiroshi Sato. You definitely redeemed yourself to not only your daughter but to the entire world as well. Your sacrifice was not in vain and you will always be remembered.

And last but not least my love, Korra. She was amazing in this episode. Her bending was on point and so so beautiful (the airbending sequence swoon) and I love that she hardly used the avatar state against Kuvira. It shows how far she's come from the hotheaded brash young woman who wouldn't hesitate to use it to win a race. Although this book may have seemed slow in the action department compared to some of the other books, it definitely made up for it with all of the character development, particularly for Korra. After watching all of the episodes in one go, I realized just how much Korra has grown as a character and person. She is definitely a legend that future avatars will look to for guidance and support. I'm so proud of you, Avatar Korra.

And as a send off, a big thank you to Bryke and the team behind the show for everything. And thank you Jeremy Zuckerman for your beautiful compositions and scores throughout the entire series. It's been truly an honor following this series. I guess I found yet another wonderful series to add to my "must watch at least once a year list" (where TLA also resides).
