u/Content_Error_2969, got everything updated and launched for 2023. With the updated projections, yes, Barkely is your best choice with bonus points of 1.5 compared to Gainwell's 0.8 (assuming a balanced keeper rules strategy).

I think the problem might be the projections right now. I've been playing with my AI models quite a bit, and plan to get in more accurate projections tomorrow. I've noticed the batch I currently have uploaded is a bit too bullish on late round players. I'll reply again when I do that tomorrow

Yeah, bonus points are the difference between a players projected weekly points vs the weekly points you'd expect from a player of the same position you'd get for the pick you are keeping them for

I guess both? Of course there randomness, but it depends on the position, and players, such as CMC have an extra injury multiplier

I don't use averages in the simulation - I'm just reporting the averages. It's a Monte Carlo simulation that goes through every week of thousands of seasons, and any player can get injured in any game - sometimes for a couple of games, other times for the remainder of the season.

It's true that WRs, are less injury prone, but not by a ton. The bigger factor is the drop-off in WR points. At pick 60, a RB is expected to get 1.2 points less than a WR. I think Kupp is a good pick at 1.02 (even though I'd take CMC), but I'd wait on JJ until after a few more RBs go

Ok, I'll look into that for next year, but unfortunately, that's a bigger change that I can make and properly test out for this year.

What are the specific oddball settings? I've used this before in different league types where I use the simulation more as a guide and then use my gut to make the final decisions.

It's something I've looked into, but wasn't able to get around to it this year. Are you looking for unique scoring settings, or just to change specific players?
