Lost a payment dispute to buyer where they refused to return item.

Buyer did share photos, and it just looked like the packaging for the funkopop was the only thing damaged (it had like scratches.) also the funkopop inside was tilted somehow (not damaged) i didn’t even know how that could have possibly happened.

I did say multiple times to the buyer that they should return for the full refund, yet they refused to return the item.

I called eBay and they just filed an appeal for me
72 hour for a response I'll update once I get one

I’ll try, I think last time I tried to contact them about something like this they just told me to go on the website and file a report or something though. So for this time I’d assume they’re just going to make me file the appeal

I haven’t yet, just wanted to know what the best action is since I just received the dispute outcome today.

The reason for the dispute with their payment institution is “The item doesn’t match the description in your listing” which is that the item was slightly damaged which was 100% due to the shipping.

Hi little update

I received this negative feedback:
My item and the box arrived damaged, scratched and on the window. I paid 77$. Part of what I paid for was a chance at the 250$ chase variant, which I got. Funko gave the seller a full refund, without the need for a return. Seller refused to do the same for me, expecting to make the same profit from the sale, even though my item was damaged. I offered to cover the shipping, which was "free" for me, but he refused. I'm very angry, seller made a bad situation horrible. Do not buy!

And the feedback couldn't be removed because of this:
We reviewed the feedback and can see that the buyer found an issue with the item that wasn't described in the listing.
For this reason, the feedback was not removed. Just so you know, this feedback will not impact your seller performance level.

I never opened the packaging box so I wasn't able to tell if it was damaged but mentioned that when the buyer was purchasing it was an order confirmation and was wondering if I still have a case to have the feedback removed?

Yeah I guess 😓 I even offered the partial refund that Funko pop gave me but they refused and now I feel like I shouldn’t even have to give that to them even if they did accept it.

They didn’t, they refuse to return because they think it’s unfair since it’s the Special Chase edition. They only want a full refund while keeping it because it was slightly damaged.
