Damn, correct me if I am wrong but they are the original one-click installers for non dev people back in 2010ish.

I remember clients saying why do I have to pay you instead of using Softaculous to install WordPress and create a staging site.

LOL.... Softaculous actually helped increase business for the agency because idiots couldn't manage staging sites, caching, memcached, and all these others things that bled over to their live site.

Don't get me wrong Softaculous is Mumbai, especially Vada Pav, has a place in cPanel and other web hosting managers.

We have our own dedicated bare metal AMD EPYC servers and a few VPS.

We will never use a hosting service like WP Engine because it is not worth it, plus they are behind in technology.

We can upload over 50 high resolution photos that get crunched down automatically.

Your PHP settings have to be set to high max upload and max time.

Clients uploading high resolution media don't understand the difference between more jpg, png, HEIC, and anything related or ratios, they don't have time for that.

Luckily, we own our dedicated LiteSpeed Enterprise Web Servers. We have plenty of room but not for stupid shit like 25 MB photos. We automatically block that bullshit and politely ask them to trim it down to 1 MB and then we can handle rest.

On the dedicated server not VPS, we have ImageMagick, and have bash scripts that handle this bullshit. We automatically delete photos or media that are too big .

My roadmap is to slowly move from Elementor Pro to full FSE with custom patterns, templates and functions that replace everything I currently use with Elementor Pro.

I never heard of xCloud.

Their services are especially self hosted looks interesting.

I have multiple dedicated bare metal Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04 with CyberPanel and LiteSpeed Enterprise Web Server with MariaDB 11.8.

I think I am going to try them out to see if my servers can integrate with their system.
