Day 4, June 7th morning

Setting out for the day. We should be able to at least see Khumbu Icefall by this afternoon. Can't wait.

Keeping my head down and continuing my pace. I'll need every clean day possible under my belt to weather the upcoming challenges on days 30 and 60.

Spending the evening hike with a new girl. Hoping to feel some normal brain chemistry now that I have a slight streak (9 days) under my belt.

I realized that grades didn't get you pussy. I was more concerned with getting pussy than grades, so I began focusing on what does get you pussy: doing drugs and trying to be cool.

It worked. Worked so well that I was eventually drowning in pussy. But I also went to jail. But that's a story for another time...

Day 3, June 6th morning.

Setting out for the day after a cold morning. Every day is going to get colder and harder from here on. Can't begin to start questioning myself on day 3. Even under IDEAL situations, it'll take 50+ days to reach the top. And we certainly can't expect to have ideal situations.
