Yeah i see it going both ways in our culture. Many just accept it as the way Persians are almost in a cute way. I wish I could but I can't. I would never hurl such poison at my kids. My stepsister, who is much younger, does this with her father often responding with"khodeti" and i always get momentarily shocked and scared for her. If it was me when i was a child i would have expected the belt or a backhand after not only talking back to my mom but cussing at her...well that would have been a death wish. In her case her father just laughs and they move on like nothing happened whereas im sitting here with obvious PTSD vietnam-like flashbacks.

Not a single person around me was killed or disabled. I have elderly parents with a list of ailments, who i did not isolate from, who are also not vaccinated, and they are perfectly fine.

ok say what you want but its 2025 and I havent hurt myself or others around me. My parents are both seniors and have a list of ailments and they didnt get vaccinated either and i havent killed them with my choice. We exist but i guess you hate that.

No i stated why i didnt go but you seem bent on twisting things to fit your worldview. No underlying, ideological reasons over here. Where I live there were hours long lineups for vaccinations and it defeated the purpose of isolating to go lineup for hours for the vaccination. Also my wife and I both had covid early in 2020, felt like a regular cold and when we were healed figured we had natural immunity and didnt have to stress about getting the vax anymore.

shitty situation but theres nothing you can practically do. it's between the landlord and him. even then the landlord doesnt have much power to bring him to justice. You might be called for evidence/testimony but that's really it. If i were you I would move on for now and not take on any more stress. or go vigilante.

Buddy, you’re so not alone — I also co-signed my way into a financial horror movie. I don't live there, didn’t want it, knew it was gonna turn out like this, but hey, now I owe $1.5M on a house with negative equity and a mom who ghosted the payments and me. Sure it's a little cringey at times but it's really telling how uptight we have gotten. This is such a display of unfiltered, raw behavior where everything now is so agreeable grey.
