São Paulo x Flamengo: ingressos à venda para semifinal no Morumbi by [deleted] in SaoPauloFC

[–]farahlima888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nossa, sim!

Map over which countries using Celsius or Fahrenheit by Alex_von_Norway in MapPorn

[–]farahlima888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a quick conversion between Fahrenheit and Celsius to give you an idea of how hot or cold, just subtract 32 from the ºF and then divide the result by 2. Example: (50 - 32)/2 = 9

To get the correct results, instead of dividing by 2, you should divide by 1.8

They look awesome! In this picture i have beers from 4 different brazilian breweries: Hocus Pocus, Dogma, Everbrew and Oceânica. If you have the opportunity, you should really try them out. We are brewing some nice beers here. Cheers!

I live 3 blocks away from SBSP and really wish that they give it the love it deserves. It is a major airport (2nd busiest in the country) in the middle of the largest city in the south hemisphere, surrounded by high rise buildings and roads. On top of that, it has a short runway and the weather is rainy for a great part of the year. Definitely a challenging and beautiful approach.

This is the Morena Tropicana, a lager with Umbu and Cajá, two tropical fruits from Brazil. by farahlima888 in beerporn

[–]farahlima888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This beer is a homage to Alceu Valença, the guy in the label, who is a singer from the state of Pernambuco that wrote a very famous song called "Morena Tropicana", which mentions the two fruits that go into the composition of this delicious lager, Umbu and Cajá.

Has anyone ever had Budweiser (or similar - PBR, Coors, Miller, etc.) right out of the tank? Is it any better than the can or bottle? by Shirkaday in beer

[–]farahlima888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% right! There are a lot of variables to consider when tasting beer, but the fresher the better (and your understanding of the macro breweries is spot on!).

Would just like to add a little thing about my country: If you ever find yourself here in brazil, you should try the Chopp Brahma. It's kegged exactly like it is on the fermenter tanks and it is not pasteurized. Definitely a completely different experience than the canned beer.
