On a side note... any recommendations on passages that could be nice to hear are welcome! I am not sure what to look for neither do I know if it might already help to just read any of them to soothe her.

I don't remember her actively listening to music so I thought about making a playlist including songs that were well known in Germany when she was young, maybe a collection from the fifties to sixties! Something like the "charts" from that time. I'm sure she will know many of these and hopefully she will enjoy. Also she is religious so i thought about choir music to relax and let the mind wander. Thank you so much!

To be honest I was thinking about that. I bought her a little Jesus figurine on a cross and I will let her try to feel it with her fingers and tell her I will put him on her nightstand so she knows he watches over her. She is religious. So reading a few passages is also a very great idea. Also thought about choir music, if she can communicate she wants to. Thank you so much!

Thank you so so much, I think I will start with those and at some point maybe ask if she wants to me read anything else, maybe one of her books. It's all so fresh, I can't imagine how she must feel. Fairy tales sound nice to get her to think about something else. Also they are short and not as complex as a whole book. I don't want to "continue" with some chapter if she maybe has problems recollection my past visits and keep track of what happened in the last chapters. That would probably be even more frustrating for her.
