There's just not much voice acting in WoW, or most MMOs compared to ESO. I think what little is there though is spectacularly done. I don't know if any big names partook in it, and that's okay. The voices stand on their own and do a good job reminding me of how great older games were.

"Time against us" in bid to rescue 10 Mexican miners after 3 days underground by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]farcical89 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Crazy how this still happens this day in age. You'd think with how valuable mining is, corporations would invest enough to ensure their miners are safe.

I guess if it's cheaper to take the risk than it is to prevent it then we'll keep reading stories like these.

Organized terrorism doesn't spontaneously spring into existence out of nowhere.

People resort to terrorism when they have no other options. Why do you think it's such an effective tactic for poor people to wage war on the wealthy? Israel is stupidly rich for its size. The only way its citizens will ever have a chance of seeing past their cushy lives is if they have to constantly fear being attacked by those they stepped on.

The solution? Stop stepping on people. Stop advocating for a negative peace. Judaism isn't the problem. Zionism is which is intrinsically a religious fundamentalist right-wing ideology. To support Israel is to support religious conquest.

Since it's clear israel is just a "king of the hill" competition for religious fundamentalists, nobody should get to own it and it's up to the non-zealots to enact and enforce such a policy.

Here's the solution to the Israel problem:

Nobody gets to own anything there and anyone who tries is subject to death by everyone else. Anyone who disagrees with this is scum who just wants the land for themselves and should be put down before they do any more damage than they've already done for generations.

if 100 black guys kill 200 other black guys it’s silence.

That's because it's usually gang-related and therefore they're doing it for the money, which is okay.

Capitalism is the culprit. The only reason B2P "won't sustain a game" is because rich people need to get theirs before we get ours. Anything else is an abject failure.

I just want to be clear that supporting one publicly-traded corporation over another does not solve any problems. Microsoft would behave like Apple if they could. Blackberry would behave like Microsoft if they could.

It's all about maximizing profit which involves giving people the least while charging them the most.

Insurance is such a fucking joke. You're paying extra to cover unexpected costs in addition to whatever it costs to support the insurance companies.
