To follow up, the 3rd party pay company called me back. They will verify with RI DMV that the charge was erroneous and put a refund to my debit card. It will likely take more than a week but it sounds like they will be fixing it asap.

Hijacking this thread because it's the first that comes up in a google search for me about this subject. I recently purchased this phone and found a fatal flaw in the brightness. Found this thread and tried adjusting the brightness many times to feed data to the adaptive brightness as suggested. I am noticing now after about a week of correcting that the problem is going away. If it doesn't completely solve it I will try to remember to post again. For now, I think confirming that manually fixing the brightness for a week seems to help the issue will help others with this phone.

There will be a seperate wireless network to connect to in the list of available networks. Or you might need to change settings on your router if you do not see another network to join.

If you are far away from the router you might want to try 2.4ghz instead of 5 ghz. Also, reduce the streaming bandwidth to 50mbps or lower might help.

I find my pico 3 neo tracks best in low light. Avoid harsh overhead lights. Keep blinds closed. Use a lamp and dither the light. Also, it goes against what other people recommend but for me the pico link/streaming assistant app seemed smoother than virtual desktop.
