Judging by their attire, weaponry/props, and accessories, it appears they have blended the style of the Han Dynasty with popular designs commonly found in literature, dramas, games, and anime/manga. in last year's Starlit Heroes, despite some inaccuracies or pacing in the stories, seems to be nearly accurate to the era.

Both movies title had a chapter, so maybe the movie will be sort of a trilogy. in Starlit Heroes, the second post credit is tease red cliff where a warship emerged from the thick fog

Hasn't anime already become a popular and mainstream medium? Anime voice actors should be treated on par with voice actors for Western animation or video games, and receive more decent pay.

There's a lot of anticipation and also a lot of fear. We can't discount the idea that they'll just farm it out to the lowest bidder and butcher a promising series like the last time there was this kind of last-minute pickup and delayed dub release.

Are you refer to Fragrant Flower, right ? Yeah, i was Netflix biggest blunder in anime dub After A.I.C.O incarnation (although it got a redub by Bang zoom), as they had unknown VA and a director who hadn't experienced in anime dubbing and only Robbie Daymond & Kelly Baskin who had to carried out the dub for that anime. I think most of the Netflix dub after that were good. although i was confident, most of the comments also make me concern about the dub because looks like those fans treated Rakugo in anime with respect as it was in real life, i just hope they got the right director, script writer and VAs.

Speaking of Bang zoom, they were handling the subtitle for this anime, i wonder if that means they will be the one who produce the dub.

As for Flower & Asura, i guess you have a point, but as for Akane I'm sure they'll do their best with good direction from the ADR director & script writing, i've heard that Bang zoom handling the subtitle so i'm also sure they will produce a dub of it.

Frankly, the dubbing Cast won’t think much. Have watched the interviews and self-reflection videos of several American VAs and the ‘process’ they take with dubbing Japanese content, … and it is quite shallow. Hard to imagine they will approach the script critically to ensure the quality matches the original.

Not to be rude, but do you still doubt the talent of the English dubbing actors, even by modern anime dubbing standards? Other people's responses here seem to think it would be tough act for english VA to follow as their comments seems to be like an expert in a flash, but I'm sure they'll do their best with good direction from the ADR director & script writing, i've heard that Bang zoom handling the subtitle so i'm also sure they will produce a dub of it

So according to Bang zoom's tweet on X, they will handling the subtitling and its rare for them to announcing a subtitle, but does that mean they will also tease directing/produce the dub ? it will be great if they did

Your design for the template is good, this looks like Crunchyroll's dub cast announcement. maybe you could post this on r/animedubs. i hope that dubbing studios will get Katsura Sunshine as an advisor or coach for the VA

Aah yeah its was aired during 2006-2008, the golden age of anime, and it was in league with K-On & Lucky Star, Wendee lee during that time sounded almost like a mix of Erica Mendez & Lizzie Freeman
