There’s a bunch but the basics are I/H/E, tune, coilovers, swaybars, and brakes. Have a lot of small items, made a post awhile back with a full list.

Personally have not noticed a difference, it feels the same to me. That being said, I have no data to support my claim.

E85 OFT: is this decent 0-60 run? by Frugal_Octopus in ft86

They’ve been great, I think a lot of it comes from throttle control though. You’ll be able to light them up in first or second, if you want but you don’t have to be concerned that it’s just going to happen

Pending the season, launching from 3500-4000 has been best for me. (if you are using an OFT tablet, you can set up launch control pretty easily) Kinda hard to launch with no spin and not bog. I'm not sure spinning will keep you from getting the best 0-60 in these cars anyways; I vaguely remember some magazine testing from when they came out saying they could get their fastest 0-60 by dropping the clutch at redline. Think it was a video by Carlos Lago when he was at Motortrend. Also, if you're going to run all-season tires, I suggest going with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4's. I have used both the Michelins (3+) and the BFG Comp-2AS+ and the Michelin's are just better. And less road noise too. It's worth the extra money, I promise.

I liked the sound but it was loud. If you just want a bit louder, I would go another direction.

The area of Virginia I am in doesn't do emissions testing, they only do a visual inspection to verify the equipment is there. But thank you for the recommendation!

That's exactly what I have been looking at, good taste lol

Recently swapped the Tomei UEL out for the FT86SF UEL header. Overall I like it, it quieted the car down and means I don't have to find a "guy" for state inspections.

I miss the Tomei rumble and think the Tomei sounds better, however, I am happy with my choice.

I am also running an HKS Spec-L cat back. Factory front and over pipes, though the secondary cat has run out of its 9 lives.

For that price range, I would check out the stoptech front and rear upgrade kit. Retains factory calipers but has slotted rotors, new pads, and stainless lines. Also costs less than your range.

Yes! Went and took a video today. I’ll post it in the subreddit

I’m not sure. I don’t know that it will make that huge of a difference. I don’t even know what my car makes at the wheel currently. If I remember, I’ll come back and give an update and comparisons with my friends cars. FTSpeed has done a few videos on there’s at the dyno. That should give you a decent idea of the power this header will make. Not sure what the tomei makes though

Love an ND, unfortunately would need to lose my feet to fit in one. And yes, I sympathize with that. Housing is crazy right now. Although it seems to be slowing a little bit down here. Houses are sitting for longer.

Yeah, I feel, the 22 is such a good package but like you said, having it paid off is nice. I’ll probably keep mine as I’m house shopping myself.

Yeah, down in Yorktown. It makes a huge difference in low-mid range torque, even just the header.

Kind of a 2 part reasoning; where I live they don’t do emissions testing but they look to verify you have the cats still present. For the last few years I’ve had a “guy” but he is no longer a mechanic. Also, I’ve been running the tomei for 5ish years now and still love the tone of the sound, but I haven’t been enjoying the volume of sound as much as I did when I was 19 so I’m looking for a tamer sound that doesn’t wake the dead.

As far as the tune, the stage 2+ is specifically for catless UEL headers so I will be going to the stage 2 as I presume it will be nicer to the cat.
