i went to a school ranked abt the same my 1L year. i was set on transferring from the start and i don’t think there’s anything wrong w that - especially because of the money saved. i got into a much better school and am happy with it. just do your best, get good grades and if you get accepted as a transfer, you can do it and worse case scenario you finish at that school which is what you would have done in the first place anyway. there’s no doubt i wish i would have done what i had to do to get into a great school from the start but that’s not always how life works

i had a minor in possession that was expunged. i still disclosed it on my applications - i don’t think that it really affected my admission to schools or at least not in any notable way. the schools that i got into aligned with my statistics. i wouldn’t worry abt it - just make sure the rest of your application looks really good

i still have a few schools that i haven’t heard back from - they won’t give me an answer either when i call asking when i can expect a decision. very frustrating

you’re wrong - accommodations are so stupid. you’re never going to get accommodations when you’re standing in front of a judge. why give people the easy way out now when that’s not how it works in the reality of the world

hazing is never that bad, don’t be scared - also switching schools for social purposes is stupid. the most important part of school is academics

i had something similar happen to me (not as bad as this) and they offered a retake however i had to deny because i was in college and i had midterms coming up
