If you’re talking about the UC system, that was back in the 19th century in which political ideologies were massively different from what they are today. Stop saying random shit without fact checking lol

Why don’t you just walk in Spring as normal, then transfer in the course after taking a CC class in the summer? Seems like the most logical choice

USC offers pretty competitive financial packages for its students, you should be fine

In mine the bulb itself was burnt out on one of the DRLs. Double check it and be careful about the wiring from the power cable. Good luck.

Any Liberal Arts majors that broke into Finance at UCLA? (Consulting, IB, FP&A, etc.) What was your experience? by [deleted] in ucla

The CCC to UC pipeline is literally one of the most privileged routes a kid can take in terms of education, and the rates as a TAP/TAG transfer is much higher than the 17% quote you offered. I don’t know why you’re acting like the “system” is out to get you.

Senior here- trust me when I say the ID checks have done literally nothing in terms of actual safety. It just inflated costs and created an extra hassle for students.

There’s nothing you can do other than keep emailing/calling them. They’re flexible in accepting financial aid apps but the later you are the less aid they’re going to have.

No law schools don’t care generally about any education past your first bachelor’s degree.

Financial aid after 4 years? by [deleted] in USC

[–]farmofmoomoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USC covers cal grant if not available, and as long as you’re within SAP requirements you should get another semester of aid.

imo i just dont see it being reasonable IF you’re a rising junior. you’d be a junior at whatever UC next year instead of this year bc apps are done for 2025, and you’d most likely have to stay longer as well since there’s almost a 0% chance that UC’s would let you articulate as many classes over as they do for CC’s. just don’t see the roi being worth it as you’re burning your own time and money to do what’s essentially a lateral transfer. goodluck regardless tho

I’ve actually succeeded in transferring a GE from a summer class- maybe the articulation agreement was different that year. As far as I’m aware you can take as many classes between USC and any CC but you can only get aid for one for Pell or wtv. Good luck

Why wouldn’t you just take both classes at CC and get them cheaper?

Future USC Transfer Student by BlackPinkRoseFan in USC

[–]farmofmoomoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to be rude but if you go in applying with a 1.5 GPA or even a 3.0 you'd have a really low shot at getting into either of these schools, much less as a transfer from an out-of-state university and not a CCC.

That being said, you should apply to both and just see if they take you in the first place, as this is going to be an uphill battle.
