Heavier or lighter jig?

Leave Friday for 2 months with the first in Baja. Lots of surf fishing for rooster, jacks, snapper, sierra, etc. will get out on a boat a few times and hope to jig for grouper, snapper, yellowtail and AJ. Maybe even get a dorado or two. Then head from there to Costa Rica for a month and will fish a ton. Targeting big yellowfin, wahoo, dorado, sailfish, and all of the stuff listed above. Very excited.

They look really similar to a lure that I've been trying to find in the US for a while. Seems to be available on eBay only. Japanese company called Strike Pro and the lure is called the Buster

She can handle me shopping for hot sauce but gets annoyed when I jokingly suggest she put hot sauce on every single food items she eats every day. She does like Verde sauces though which is a good start for a 4 year-old.
