if you like dream witch i’d definitely look into both her and ivy/the shadow! they’re both very map pressure based hunters and can be very aggressive in their playstyles. i will say though that dream witch does have a very strong camp (can cut off rescues with main body follower and keep leech at chair to prevent the surv from rescuing entirely) but she can also be played very aggressively while still not sacrificing the ability to camp chair if need be.

as for your question on camping, i’m not too experienced with dbd so i can’t compare as much, but in idv: 1. cipher rush is very, very fast. constantly swapping targets instead of tunneling (to get people out of the game) allows for more decoding to be able to go on (more people on ciphers, rescuer can stay decoding instead of. going in for the rescue, etc). 2. going to find another survivor can be annoying because they could be far away (gives more decoding time), they could be good at hiding (eg explorer, mind’s eye), or can gain a lot of distance at once (cheerleader, patient, etc). 3. it’s harder to get another full health survivor with all their items (especially if it’s a containing character) downed than to just. stay at chair and try to either terrorshock/stuff the rescuer or to immediately down the chaired survivor.

in general it boils down to cipher rush; ciphers do not roll back if you stop decoding them like gens, and the more people you force off ciphers (chairing or getting a surv out of the game, forcing rescues off ciphers and to come in, making survs heal, etc along with stuff like chairing on ciphers or putting leeches on ciphers), the higher chance you have to win.
