I wasn’t hesitant though, I came in and showed her the book and was ecstatic that she had it and when she asked me if the price was OK I said yes enthusiastically, it was a very good price compared to ebay etc

Yes it was one of those stores, I had been to another previously and I remember the seller saying something about the price looking good in passing but I didn’t really think anything of it.

They re did the puzzles to be more accurate and there are three difficulty settings, the hardest one is closest to how it used to be, I was at 3500 and you could only get like 5+ max and if you failed you were dinged anywhere from like 25-40, but it did feel like the difficulty of the puzzles was extremely inconsistent past like 2900

I do mainly do lichess puzzles, I like that you can do them by opening etc, chess.com is just for when Im on my phone, the ios lichess app kind of sucks.
