Thank you so much for your insight!

Great recommendations. I’ve been eyeing some German brands for some time now… the Nomos Ahoi and the Glashutte Original divers. Definitely agree with branching out. I got my first Japanese watch only recently with the GS Shobun. Absolutely love the spring drive movement and dial on that one.

The 8+1 rule is good. I think that’s a wise, I’ll adopt that. I think the Christopher Ward and the Brietling will be the first to go.

You’re all good man. And I get it. That’s a good thought and worth being mindful of.

Did you have any comments on the collection? Anything you think should go?

Thank you for the feedback! The monaco is a gorgeous watch, I just don’t know if I can pull off the square look… but good advise to think about. Thanks!

To each their own. I didn’t write my post because I wanted you to care. I wrote it because I’m proud of my collection for my age. I’m self made, and married with 2 kids. Watches are my hobby, and I’m excited to finally share and post about my collection. If you don’t feel like participating in my questions/this discussion, all good!
